Oxbridge & University Entrance Tuition
The path to Oxford, Cambridge and other world-class universities takes more than strong grades. Applicants must prove real subject passion, rigorous critical thinking and the poise to handle searching interviews.
We work with a trusted network of experienced university admissions tutors and subject specialists to support applications to a wide range of institutions, including Oxford, Cambridge, Russell Group universities and selective international destinations. Trinity Education oversees the process, ensuring families receive thoughtful, well-coordinated support tailored to their child’s goals.
Why families choose our support
From the spring of Year 12 onward, applicants face a tight timetable: course choices, college preferences, super-curricular reading, admissions tests, personal statements and, finally, interviews. Our specialist tutors keep the process calm and strategic, deepening subject knowledge, sharpening analytical flair and building the confidence to think aloud under pressure. Younger pupils with Oxbridge aspirations receive extension tutorials, reading lists and mini-research projects that strengthen future applications.
Personal-Statement & UCAS Expertise
A standout personal statement is often the deciding factor once grades and test scores are equal. Our specialists run focused workshops that help students refine a clear theme, showcase genuine subject passion and weave super-curricular evidence into a concise, memorable story. Every draft receives line-by-line feedback on structure, tone and academic depth. Alongside this, we guide families through the entire UCAS process – course selection, reference coordination, deadline management and, where relevant, the separate Oxbridge application timeline, so nothing is left to chance.

Our Testimonials
“My PPE tutor turned tricky logic questions into enjoyable puzzles, and the mock interviews felt tougher than the real thing. Offer secured from Brasenose College, Oxford.”
“Trinity’s Oxbridge package demystified every stage. The ENGAA drills and panel interviews were spot on, our daughter is off to Cambridge Engineering.”

Frequently Asked Questions - Oxbridge
Which admissions tests do you prepare for?
Virtually all: TSA, MAT, PAT, ENGAA, NSAA, STEP, TMUA, HAT, ELAT, MLAT, LNAT, BMAT, UCAT and bespoke college assessments.
When should preparation start?
Ideally in the spring of Year 12. Intensive programmes from September can still yield excellent results.
Can you help international applicants?
Yes. We tutor online across time zones, run remote mock interviews and advise on UCAS, test-centre bookings and visas.
Do you guarantee an offer?
No ethical service can promise that. We guarantee expert guidance, rigorous preparation and honest feedback to maximise every student’s chances.
How many tutorial hours are typical?
Most candidates take one 90-minute subject tutorial each week, plus focused admissions-test sessions. Interview practice intensifies in October and November.
Additional FAQs – Oxbridge & Top-University Applications
How early should we decide between Oxford and Cambridge?
Ideally by the end of Year 12, because you may need course-specific summer reading and different admissions tests (e.g. ENGAA for Cambridge Engineering vs PAT for Oxford). We help families weigh subject fit, college culture and test logistics before committing.
Can my child apply to both Oxford and Cambridge?
No. UCAS rules allow only one of the two in a single application cycle (unless you’re applying for Organ Scholarships). We guide you in choosing the stronger match and using your remaining four UCAS choices strategically.
What counts as “super-curricular” for Oxbridge?
Any activity that deepens academic interest beyond the classroom: reading primary papers, entering essay competitions, attending university taster lectures, coding a personal project, or conducting a small research experiment. We build a tailored super-curricular plan so each activity links convincingly to the course.
Do Oxbridge colleges make contextual or reduced offers?
Yes. Both universities run contextual-offers schemes that may lower grade requirements for students from under-represented backgrounds or low-progression schools. We check eligibility early and advise on evidence you may need.
Is a gap year a disadvantage?
Not if it’s well-used. Oxbridge welcomes re-applicants who spend a gap year on relevant work, research, travel with academic purpose, or further reading. We design a structured plan so the year strengthens – rather than stalls -your application.
I’m an international student. Do I still sit admissions tests in the UK?
Usually not. Most papers (TSA, MAT, BMAT, etc.) have approved overseas centres, and interviews can sometimes be arranged online. We handle test-centre booking, time-zone coaching and mock interviews via Zoom to mirror UK conditions.
